Previous Models and Factory-Refurbished PTs for sale

Segway, Inc. no longer manufactures the models below, but supports all previously sold products. Accessories and Parts readily available from Segway New Zealand, and we offer full computerised diagnostic servicing and repairs.

We offer previous model (first generation) Segway PTs that have been fully refurbished at the factory in USA for sale. They look great, have been throughly checked and serviced, are fitted with new batteries, and are covered by a 6 month warranty. Select from the available models below, place your order with us and we import on demand (allow 14-21 days for delivery).

We sometimes have pre-owned/trade-in previous model (first generation) Segway PTs for sale. These are NZ-new units that were originally sold to customers by Segway NZ during previous years. We have checked the history and completed a full service on these Segway PTs prior to listing for sale with a 30 day warranty, and we may have replaced certain worn or damaged parts to restore full functionality or to improve appearance (eg: brand new fenders). SERVICE and REPAIRS

We provide free telephone and email support to all owners of Segway products throughout New Zealand.

If you bring your PT to us, we will resolve all issues related to and fit all accessories and parts that are considered 'user replaceable'
at our workshop for free. We'll come to you anywhere in NZ for a reasonable call-out fee, or one of our Agents can assist.

We have a standard service fee of $125 ($111+GST) to trouble-shoot problems, which may be waived in part or in full if the issue
turns out to be trivial. This fee includes identifying issues such as a failed or weak battery (and fitting replacement battery),
CSB failure (and fitting a replacement CSB), Handlebar failure (and fitting a replacement CSB), and a PowerBase failure
(which involves extracting and clearing Fault Logs using our diagnostic computer).

Segway New Zealand can perform diagnosis and most repairs here in New Zealand. If there is a fault inside the PowerBase of your
Segway PT that requires returning to USA for repairs, we have Loaner PowerBases available to hire to keep you moving. As an
alternative to repairing your PowerBase you can trade in your non-functional PowerBase for a factory-refurbished PowerBase.
We have refurbished PowerBases that have been individually certified by Segway, Inc. and these are covered by a 5 month warranty
from date of sale. A refurbished PowerBases is $3,000+GST subject to availability, and excludes Gearboxes, CSB and all other parts.
Segway New Zealand will swap over all items attached to your failed PowerBase onto your refurbished PowerBase (ie: Gearboxes, CSB,
Batteries, Fenders, Wheels, Mat, Handlebar, Accessories, etc) for $250+GST.

(VHS or DVD) are available for FREE simply by contacting us.
