Navimow....down the garden path (from one lawn to the next)

Navimow is able to transverse a variety of terrain while travelling from one lawn to the next. In a previous post we saw how Navimow can climb over the steel rail of an automatic gate and drive along a shingle driveway.

Today, let's look at a photo of Navimow driving along a shingle garden path made from GAP 20 stones (that is, stones 20mm in size or smaller). Because this path does not have cars on it the shingle remains softly packed.

This Navimow has just exited a large lawn through the gap in the low edge (see top, centre-right of photo) and is now on its way to mow inside a fenced dog run. The property owners have a ride-on mower but it cannot fit through the gate of the run, so previously it has had to be "mowed" with a weed whacker (line trimmer).

Now, with Navimow this area can be mowed properly.

Another way to mow this area is coming to Navimow next month (September 2024). A forthcoming firmware update for H-series lets you map an area that cannot be driven to. To mow it, simply pick up Navimow and carry it to the area, put it down and set it mowing. It will mow until the area is 100% complete then wait to carried out again. If it is very large area, it will mow until the battery is flat. Simply carry it to the Charging Station, recharge, then carry it back and it will carry on mowing from where it left off. Navimow i-series got this feature last month. One of the best things about Navimow is with firmware updates adding new features it just keeps getting better - all for free!
