Our new website is coming in late-October 2024. It will bring click-to-buy to our Navimow range, Segway PT range, accessories and spare parts.

Our current website lists what we sell. All you need to do is call us on 0800 SEGWAY or contact us by email if you'd like to buy or ask questions.

We've had several iterations of website over the past 21 years. Philip Bendall hand-coded the HTML for the very first "Segway Hire" site in 2003, and by 2004 Segway New Zealand's first professional site was online. It was updated the following year for the release of the i180/XT/GT range. A 'News' section was added where new information was published on a regularly basis to supplement our quarterly printed Newsletters that we mailed out to customers.

Our website was rebuilt from scratch in 2007 for the release of Gen 2 Segway PTs, and Segway NZ News was launched as a blog on Wordpress in 2008 (with all the earlier 'News' from the old site imported so nothing was lost). The website was updated again in the mid-2010's with the SE range. Towards the end of the decade a serious data loss at our hosting company resulted in the site being lost forever and we had to get by on a temporary site that was not much more than a placeholder while a brand new, modern website was being built. That project was never completed due to complications that arose during the Days of Covid.

Our current site lists our products and the 'News & Offers' links to Segway NZ News.

Our upcoming Website is powered by Shopify. The past two decades of content from Segway NZ News will be imported across into an integrated blog built into the site itself.
